What installers ask us.

Which inverter brands does Sentinel™ currently support?

Sentinel™ is currently integrated with FoxESS and Solis. Integrations with SolaX, Growatt and SigEnergy are coming soon.

Does adding Sentinel™ change how I install a system?

No. Sentinel™ connects through the existing inverter data interface, so there's no additional hardware, cabling or change to your commissioning workflow.

What does remote monitoring and fault resolution cover?

Sentinel™ monitors generation, battery cycles, export behaviour, grid interaction and system health 24/7. Many issues can be resolved remotely through configuration changes or inverter commands.

How does Sentinel™ generate market trading revenue?

It takes part in energy flexibility markets, using the battery during periods of peak demand. The income goes to the customer, minus platform fees — real additional revenue that a standard system can't access.

Can I offer Sentinel™ to customers I've already installed for?

Yes. Compatible systems can be activated through the bulk credit programme at a much lower cost, from £10 per system at volume.

How do I present Sentinel™ in a customer proposal?

Partner installers get Financial Impact Reports that compare a specific system with and without Sentinel™, covering savings, export income, payback and 25-year returns.

What does the partner agreement involve?

A straightforward agreement covering activation pricing and support terms. There's no exclusivity and no minimum volume, and volume pricing rewards a broader rollout.

Who handles customer support after installation?

Sentinel handles platform-related support; you remain the contact for hardware and installation. Remote resolution significantly reduces post-installation queries.

Is Sentinel™ only for residential customers?

No. Sentinel™ has launched for both residential and commercial sites, and the commercial financial case is often even stronger at scale.

What if a customer cancels their Sentinel™ subscription?

The system reverts to a standard solar and battery installation, and monitoring and optimisation features are switched off. Churn is expected to be very low, as the financial benefit comfortably outweighs the subscription cost.
